One of our absolute favourite images depicting the multicultural essence of Indian design - Le Corbusier's High Court in Chandigarh. The Indian government invited Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier to lead the planning of the Indian city of Chandigarh, now known world over for its architecture. The collaboration was “an event of global import, which may cause talk for centuries,” as the New Yorker put it in 1955 (@financialtimes). . . .
